Pamela Denise Anderson (Born July 1, 1967) also formerly known as Pamela Anderson Lee and Pamela Lee is a well known model, actress, author and activist who played the role of Casey Jean "C.J." Parker in Baywatch for five years making her one of the most popular and longest serving cast members as well as the most iconic to wear the red swimsuit. She later reprised her role in the reunion movie Baywatch: Hawaiian Wedding and made a cameo as Captain Casey Jean Parker, C.J.'s mom in the film version.

She also appeared as one of the interviewees in July 2001 in an episode about Baywatch in the The E! True Hollywood Story series.

Pamela's first television role was Tool Time girl Lisa in the comedy Home Improvement which launched her acting career. Later on she also starred as bodyguard Vallery Irons in V.I.P. and Skyler Dayton in Stacked, in both of which she also produced. She also had various roles in movies including the title character in Barb Wire, Becca Kotler in Scary Movie 3, which also featured Jenny McCarthy, Dee Twiddle in Blonde and Blonder, and Invisible Woman in Superhero Movie, as well as appearing in several commercials.

Pamela later wrote and published two books Star in 2005 and it's sequel Star Struck in 2006. She then teamed up with Emma Dunlavey to publish a book with a mixture of pictures, memoirs and poetry called RAW in 2015 and then a relationship guidance book called Lust for Love: Rekindling Intimacy and Passion in Your Relationship with Rabbi Shmuley Boteach in 2018.

She has been married six times, all of which have ended in annulment or divorce and has two sons from her first marriage to heavy metal band Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee; Brandon Thomas Lee, now an actor and Dylan Jagger Lee, now a rock band musician.

Pamela is now the head of an activist corporation called the Pamela Anderson Foundation, which supports organizations and individuals that stand on the front lines in the protection of human, animal, and environmental rights. Though she hasn't completely turned her back on acting.

She also did a documentary film called Pamela, a Love Story and wrote a new book called Love, Pamela. Both were a telling of her own life story, and were released on January 31, 2023.

Pamela is also now the designer of her very first swimwear line. It was sponsored by the Frankies Bikinis beachwear company and released on May 4, 2023.

  • Pamela is nicknamed Pammy or Pam by a lot of her fans.
  • Blonde wasn't Pamela's natural hair colour. She was born with brown hair but since being a model for Playboy, it has been dyed that particular well known colour.
  • Pamela first drew the attention of fame after appearing at an American Football game in her hometown.
  • Pamela's younger brother Gerry is also an actor and producer. He appeared in two of Pamela's TV shows V.I.P. and Stacked, and produced Blonde and Blonder.
  • David Hasselhoff at first, disapproved of Pam's past as a Playboy model and did not want her to join the Baywatch cast as this was a family friendly show and he feared children would be watching it.
  • Pamela had four different names in the Baywatch intro credits: firstly her full name Pamela Denise Anderson, then just Pamela Anderson and after her marriage to Tommy Lee, it changed to Pamela Anderson Lee and then Pamela Lee.
  • Every since Pamela's appearance on Baywatch, there have been many female look-alikes and impersonators using her look, including wearing the iconic red swimsuit.
  • Pamela and co-star David Charvet were dating in real life between 1992-1994 before being cast on Baywatch. She was also dating Kelly Slater until her marriage to Tommy.
  • Tommy Lee is said to have disliked Pamela's romantic scenes on the show and was very jealous. One such time was when he was watching her doing a kissing scene with David Chokachi. Tommy got very angry, wrecked her trailer and they had to remove him from the set.
  • In the comedy television series Malibu, CA, there is one of Pamela's Baywatch posters along with one of Yasmine Bleeth's seen on the walls in the bedroom belonging to the two main characters; Scott and Jason Collins. This particular poster was signed by Pamela herself.
  • After playing her first and so far only starring film role in Barb Wire, Pamela had a real barb wire tattoo around her left bicep, even though she had the choice of having it painted on by make up artists. After keeping it for nineteen years, she is now trying to remove it completely and now it is mostly invisible. She also has a tattoo on her finger that used to say "Tommy" but had it changed to "Mommy" after divorcing her husband.
  • According to producer Michael Berk, Pamela got $5,000 or $7,500 an episode, but when she left after her five years on the show, her salary had gone up to $40,000.
  • Pamela has revealed that she used to keep a few of her red swimsuits at home: “I had a couple back then. Now I only have one and it fits. I put it on every once in a while. Still fits!” It is unknown what happened to some of them but one of them got stolen from a crazy fan who broke into her house years ago. Now that she only has one, she locks it safely away and likes to wear it in front of her dates or as a party trick; "I jump in the shower with a bathing suit and then jump on them wherever they are in the house, soaking wet".

  • Pamela disliked the new 2017 film and said this when interviewed on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen: "I didn't like it. Let's just keep the bad TV as bad TV. That's what's charming about it. Trying to make these movies that are television are just messing with it."

  • In 2021, a Hulu tv series documentary called Pam & Tommy was filmed starring actress and model Lily James as Pamela and Sebastian Stan as Tommy. It covered the life of Pamela and Tommy, which included her stint on Baywatch. Broadcasting began on February 2 and ended on March 9 of 2022. Pamela herself was revealed to not be pleased with the show and vowed never to watch it. She called it a "cheap knock-off" of her life in the spotlight. She had also never heard of the actress and actor who were playing herself and Tommy and never responded to a handwritten letter Lily sent her about her character portrayal, though later she revealed she wasn't angry at neither the actors or actresses. This led to Pamela releasing her documentary film and new book, as she wanted people to hear the true story from her own words.
    • At the premier of her documentary film, Pamela wore a long shimmering tank dress bearing the same red colour as the iconic Baywatch swimsuit.

  • In Pamela's swimwear line, a red swimsuit bearing the same resemblance to the iconic Baywatch swimsuit is part of the collection.
  • Since 2023, Pamela has decided to cease wearing as much make-up as she used to. She said in an interview with Elle magazine that she had decided to wear it less ever since the death of her beloved make-up artist Alexis Vogel in 2019: "Alexis was the best. And since then, I just felt, without Alexis, it's just better for me not to wear makeup." She has also said that going without makeup has been "freeing, and fun, and a little rebellious too."
